'Magnus' Echinacea has vibrant pink, ray-like flowers that surround deep-orange center cones, attracting plentiful pollinators to the garden throughout the summer. Leaving the spent stems and flowerheads in place to overwinter will also attract birds. Coneflowers are notably tough native plants and 'Magnus' is no exception, withstanding drought, clay, humidity and harsh winter conditions without complaint. Description

'Magnus' Echinacea is an award-winning coneflower that stands out with its rosy, bright flowers whose petals tend to stay straight out, rather than droop down like many Coneflowers. A slightly more compact variety, 'Magnus' is perfect for the perennial border or meadowscape, blooming vibrantly from early to late summer.

'Magnus' was featured as a pollinator favorite in a Mt Cuba Center Trial Garden Research Report. These reports evaluate native plants and related cultivars for horticultural and ecological value, highlighting the ecosystem services they provide.
