Low success rate.

"I have tried to plant this garden 1 years in a row. It arrives in fall as bare roots and bulbs. The first year, my beds weren't ready and I waited a few weeks to plant. I had about a 10% survival rate in Spring. Second time, last fall, beds were ready, I carefully followed the instructions and planted within a week of delivery. Come spring and I have had approximately a 60% survival/growth rate. Same experience with the shade pre-planned garden."

Wait and see. . .

"First, be aware that although they advertise illustrations for 3 different shapes of garden, there is only one preplanned shape (rectangle) and it looks nothing like the illustration. Box was shipped fast and in good condition. There were several "substitution" plants and one packet of 3 low height plants appeared to have nothing in it. Be warned, the dry root items are shipped in a lightweight dry compost and roots may be difficult to find. Even so, I ended up sifting onto my sidewalk and there were literally no bulbs in one of the packets. Other unplanned substitution was a single fern in place of a "group of three" bulbs, so that skewed my design somewhat. I was pleased to see that all the roots and one potted plant appeared to be in very good condition, so I will wait and see how they fare after planting. Not sure I would buy again or recommend, as plants were VERY small and/or missing, but for the price, it filled the space I needed, when supplemented with a few from a local garden."
