Description

Dainty and bright, ‘Totally Tangerine’ Geum (Geum x 'Totally Tangerine' PP22041) makes a beautiful, long-blooming pollinator plant. This native cultivar is a cross between Geum rivale, a species with a wide native range across the US that is found in wet meadows and bogs, and Geum chiloense, a Chilean-native species with vivid blooms. Geum thrives in fertile, moist soil rather than heavy clay soils and is best suited for climates with medium moisture and average heat. Geums are also known by the common name Avens. Note that this cross is sterile and will not go to seed. Contrast ‘Totally Tangerine’ Geum with purple Salvias for an eye-popping garden or floral display.
