Description
(24” tall x 18” wide) 'Frosted Vintage Ruffles' Reblooming Daylily is an excellent example of the many charms of this incredibly diverse genera. Spend less time on maintenance and more time on enjoyment with this award-winning Daylily. Considered a super-bloomer, this reliable favorite can produce hundreds of blooms each season when mature. Enjoy the first bloom in mid-spring, followed by a second flush a month later to complement the long, arching foliage that stays green throughout summer. Each flower stem typically produced a dozen or more flower buds, keeping the plant in bloom for weeks on end. The bloom is perfectly suited to a blousy, beautiful border, with creamy petals edged by pink ruffled edges. The throat of 'Frosted Vintage Ruffles' is a lemon-lime hue with orange stamens and anthers for a pop of color. It’s no wonder it won an Honorable Mention from the American Horticultural Society in 2008! Plant 'Frosted Vintage Ruffles' Reblooming Daylily in average soils that are well-drained in a full sun to part-shade position and enjoy years of low-maintenance blooms.
