How do we use your location?

Wild Senna, or Senna hebercarpa, is native to the Midwestern and Southeastern United States, tolerating sandy and clay soil, as well as heat and humidity. An upright, shrubby variety, this native wildflower offers up bright yellow blooms in July to August, attract butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds to the garden or meadow. In autumn, the foliage turns to red and black seed pods form, helping to feed birds.
Plant this tall yellow beauty in the back of your perennial garden, wildflower meadow, cottage garden or to naturalize a hard-to-plant area. Wild Senna will spread and naturalize with each season.
