But ‘Happy Wilma’ is just as happy as a front-of-border beauty, and looks terrific with silver variegated Carex or simply amassed on its own. All cannas seek a sunny, moisture-retentive soil, and if you’ve got a pond or container water feature, they’ll be happy splashing in the shallow end or in the pond margins. Cannasol™ Happy Wilma Canna Lily is a vigorous grower. If you live in zones 3-6, simply dig and store those spreading rhizomes in a dark frost-free basement or garage over the winter.
