Description
The Purple Galaxy Allium Collection includes a total of 30 bulbs featuring five showy varieties that draw pollinators to the garden from near and far. The mix includes varieties reaching several different heights and sizes for a dynamic display of vibrant blooms. Globemaster and Ambassador Alliums steal the show with giant six- to ten-inch blooms, while snow-white Mount Everest Allium adds cool white to the mix. Plant Purple Sensation and Violet Beauty in groups for mass appeal. Allium flower clusters stand atop long, straight stems that look stunning in a vase. Cut stems of smaller varieties when 50% of the florets have opened. Use a sharp tool to avoid damaging stems. Cut larger varieties once 100% of individual bloom shave opened. Allium flower heads are excellent for dried arrangements. Plant in sunny, mixed beds, rock gardens, or containers in well-drained soils. Deer-resistant.

Shipping
As soon as your order is placed you will receive a confirmation email. You will receive a second email the day your order ships telling you how it has been sent. Some perennials are shipped as potted plants, some as perennial roots packed in peat. The ‘Plant Information’ section describes how that item will ship. All perennials and fall-planted bulbs are packaged to withstand shipping and are fully-guaranteed. Please open upon receipt and follow the instructions included.
Perennials and fall-planted bulbs are shipped at the proper planting time for your Growing Zone. Perennial and fall-planted bulb orders will arrive separately from seeds. If your order requires more than one shipment and all items are shipping to the same address, there is no additional shipping charge.
