How do we use your location?
Knowing your location helps us recommend plants that will thrive in your climate, based on your Growing Zone.
Plant this gorgeous dark-blue Iris with other Specie Iris for a wonderful array of color in the early spring. Iris reticulata is famous for big flowers on tiny plants, standing only about 4 to 6 high. The variety 'Joyce' is the most famous sky blue cultivar of the species. They are super winter-hardy, and dependably perennial, so are the perfect dwarf iris for a wildflower or rock garden planting. These little wild irises are the true harbingers of spring. All wild gardens should include them.
As soon as your order is placed you will receive a confirmation email. You will receive a second email the day your order ships telling you how it has been sent. Some perennials are shipped as potted plants, some as perennial roots packed in peat. The ‘Plant Information’ section describes how that item will ship. All perennials and fall-planted bulbs are packaged to withstand shipping and are fully-guaranteed. Please open upon receipt and follow the instructions included.
Perennials and fall-planted bulbs are shipped at the proper planting time for your Growing Zone. Perennial and fall-planted bulb orders will arrive separately from seeds. If your order requires more than one shipment and all items are shipping to the same address, there is no additional shipping charge. See our shipping information page for approximate ship dates and more detailed information. If you have any questions, please call Customer Service at (802) 227-7200 or contact us by email or chat.

"Beautiful irises! They are small though. Not like the typical large irises I am use to seeing. Deer resistant is a plus for us and attractive."
"I planted is groups of 5-20 in cool, shaded spots around the yard."
"Returns next year"
"These beautiful flowers practically plant themselves. I leave them in the ground year round and they always come back twice as thick. The color is the deepest blue with a bright yellow spark in the center. I will purchase more of these marvelous bulbs to use as gifts and for myself. A real winner!"
"Easy to naturalize."
"i love these little iris & am delighted when they pop up every year. However, they are a rich purple & do not at all appear blue."
