Double Star Daffodil
Description
18-20" tall x 4" wide. Double Star Daffodil shows off with pure white and bright yellow petals that layer like a rose or peony. No ordinary daffodil, Double Star's sweetly scented flowers remind us that spring is in full swing. Providing pollen to honeybees, bumblebees, and many early butterflies, daffodils are an important part of a pollinator-friendly garden. Blooming in mid-to-late spring, it's a perfect choice with other mid-season tulips, peonies, and delphiniums. Happy in containers, grow plenty as they make lovely cut flowers too. Plant in well-drained soil in a full sun to light shade location. Naturalizing (spreading) when happy, this special flower will spread delight for years. Be sure to let the foliage die back and wither naturally before cutting it. Daffodils are deer, squirrel, and rabbit resistant.
