Pristine pure white Crocus flowers reveal bright-orange pistils on stems 4-6" tall. Joan of Arc's appeal also comes from its charming purple-tinged base and its elegant shape, which attracts attention at every stage. Plant in groups for stunning early spring color. (Crocus vernus)

They were just what I wanted and expected. A good size.

"Dispersed throughout a large area."

I may need to buy more of these

"This surprised me with how large the flowers were, for a crocus at least. They came up and survived all the cold weather that was thrown at them and looked beautiful in the process. I saw bees inside of them, which was great!"

Yay early flowers!

"I used these as color on a steep slope and it worked nicely this spring. Excited to watch them fill in more throughout the years."

Early spring stunner

"These came up just in time to overlap with the end of my snow crocuses bloom period. They are significantly larger than snow crocuses and really add a wow-factor when you pair them together. They all came up, every last bulb! They have a real air of spring innocence to them that I just love and find very appealing. We'll be purchasing more for next year."

No complaints. . .

"Planted with purple crocus. One order of each. ; total of 3 locations. (40 bulbs. . . ;-) No deer, yet. . . , but a VERY persistent bunny that decimated one group, and left the other two for us. Came up in March in eastern (Cumberland County) TN. . . Typcal winter for us, some snow (about 8" total), couple of days of cold; 15 to 20 degrees or so. . . All in all, pretty pleased."

So nice to see these after the 7 feet of snow melted!

"Came up underneath all the snow we had this Winter and made our hearts glad as they were the first blooms."

So nice to see these after the 7 feet of snow melted!

"They managed to come up under all the snow we had. Great to see the blooms after such a harsh winter."

Simply Beautiful

"Everything that I have ordered from American Meadows has come perfectly packaged and in great condition. They are a responsible nursery and stand by their products. I have been extremely happy with everything that I have ordered."

BEAUTIFUL AND CAREFREE

"I love these crocuses because they have a bit more "presence" than the traditional, shorter ones. I use them in bed that transition my garden from somewhat manicured to a more natural, woodland setting. In addition, my yard is unfenced and right next to a nature preserve full of deer but they completely ignore these, which is a HUGE plus in my eyes!"

Wonderful Naturalized

"I planted these in my lawn, hoping they would come up, but expecting them to not bloom like all the other crocuses I have tried to naturalize. Not only did they bloom, they were big beautiful white blooms that were like beacons in my green lawn. American Meadow crocuses are the best I have ever bought."
