How do we use your location?
Knowing your location helps us recommend plants that will thrive in your climate, based on your Growing Zone.
12-16" tall x 3" wide. Foxy Foxtrot Double Early Tulip is an early spring knockout. The peony-like, gently ruffled flower petals in shades of yellow, rosy-peach and orange, with green-tipped petals and green stamens visible as the flower opens. It's an excellent choice for mixing into a spring flower display, or plant them as a focal point where they can shine together. Excellent cut flowers too, so plant plenty! Cut when the flowers are still in bud and the outer leaves show color for longest vase life. Tulips are easy to grow, requiring compost-enriched well-draining soil in a sunny location. Plant in a sheltered spot to protect blossoms from extreme weather. Plant them 6-8" deep and lightly treat with organic fertilizer to get roots off to a good start. Water well and then only as needed during dry spells. If bulb-eating-pests are a problem, try planting with holly leaves or use a bulb cage for long-term protection.

"I was so surprised by how much I loved these tulips! I planted them in a cottage-style flower bed last fall in groups of three bulbs dotted about 12" - 18" back from the edge of the bed and about 24" apart. They came up as a beautiful medium yellow and darkened to a peachy yellow with gorgeous apricot shading. They look fabulous with Walker's Low nepita and any other purple flowering perennials you might have in your garden. They brought me so much joy and I will definitely order more. The deer did get a few of them, annoyingly, so be forewarned, they are not deer resistant, but I don't know of any tulips that are. It's the cost of beauty, I guess. Fabulous tulip that lasts for multiple weeks in the spring. Highly recommend."
"Love them they're beautiful"
"Absolutely lovely"
"When these tulips first opened they were bright clear yellow with a bit of white. I actually thought I'd been sent the wrong type, but I waited it out since I know some can change color as they mature. These have been open now for about 2 weeks and are finally starting to show off the gorgeous peachy streaks. Still not as vibrant yet as the picture but everyone loves them and they are a favorite among all the varieties planted . I will definitely buy these again. Stunning!"
"Beautiful tulips!!! Easy to plant & grow!!!"
"These tulips came up this spring healthy and robust. They last a long time cut, and have that great peony look. They opened at a pastel yellow, darkened to chick yellow, then got some light peachy streaks, then eventually a deeper yellow/orange. Unlike my Angeliques, these did not continue to deepen in color in the vase, so next year I'll resist the urge to cut for another week or so."
