How do we use your location?
Knowing your location helps us recommend plants that will thrive in your climate, based on your Growing Zone.
Everyone loves the fragrance and colorful show that Freesia brings to the garden in late spring. The Freesia Double Mix bulbs should be planted in early spring, in full sun. They will come up and bloom about 100-120 days after planting and will last for about 4 weeks. Gardeners in areas that receive frost will want to dig the bulbs up at the end of the season and store them for the winter.
As soon as your order is placed you will receive a confirmation email. You will receive a second email the day your order ships telling you how it has been sent. Some perennials are shipped as potted plants, some as perennial roots packed in peat. The ‘Plant Information’ section describes how that item will ship. All perennials and fall-planted bulbs are packaged to withstand shipping and are fully-guaranteed. Please open upon receipt and follow the instructions included.
Perennials and fall-planted bulbs are shipped at the proper planting time for your Growing Zone. Perennial and fall-planted bulb orders will arrive separately from seeds. If your order requires more than one shipment and all items are shipping to the same address, there is no additional shipping charge. See our shipping information page for approximate ship dates and more detailed information. If you have any questions, please call Customer Service at (802) 227-7200 or contact us by email or chat.

"I had so much hope for these flowers, but NOTHING GREW, what is the problem if a lot of the reviews are saying the same thing. I did everything correctly, still no flowers."
"Nothing has come up or bloomed so I don't feel I can give a good review"
"Though I would purchase these freesia bulbs again, not all of the freesia bulbs that I planted came up. I assume it was the conditions--maybe too much rain or the couple of prolonged dry times when there was no rain and when I didn't water--because the bulbs looked firm and healthy."
"I planted my Freesia bulbs last year, spring and all the bulbs bloomed this year. One stem of flowers fills my front room with wonderful fragrance. This smell is compatible to Peonies and I just love them, wish they would bloom year round."
