Pink Giant Glory of the Snow is true to its name. An early spring bloomer, it's always a delight to catch a peek at its pretty petite pink flowers appearing through the snow. It’s deer resistant and reaches heights of 8-10” tall. Also known as Chiondoxa forbesii, Pink Giant is perfect for colder zones 2-8. (Chionodoxa forbesii)
Pink Giant Glory of the Snow or also known as Chionodoxa forbesii are petite pink flowering bulbs originally from the mountains of Turkey. Poisonous or Toxic to Animals
Yes - Bulbs, blooms, leaves, and stems all contain toxic compounds, which are most concentrated in the bulb.
"These are my first bloom of Spring, they even beat my crocus. The bud is a deep pink and the bloom fades quickly to pale pink. They have survived in my metal stock tank (with drain holes) for 4+ years, are spreading out and are very happy. They didn't blink an eye when I hauled them out of the planter to top up the soil, then put them back in."
— Melinda F. (5/5)
Popped up but not what I was expecting
"Very small plant. Unless you purchase several plants they almost disappeared in my garden. I would recommend them for a potted indoor plant."
— Cindy (3/5)
Very pretty
"Lovely flowers, but I expected more/more display. Some lost to weather, or varmints? #sweepstakes"
— Forget N. (3/5)
Early bloomers
"First year and doing great! Among the first bloomers of the season in zone 4"
— G (5/5)
OK
"These didn't all come up, and the ones that did come up didn't all bloom. We did have some tough weather this spring, so that may be why, though many of the spring flowers in my area have been outstanding, even with or because of the crazy weather."
— LP (3/5)
Lil cuties
"These indeed were the first to flower in my garden after a difficult, record-cold Michigan winter. They are a very pale dainty pink. However, there is a discrepancy in the description which state they are 8"-10" mature height and then lower down in the grid it says 6"-8" which is more correct. They are similar in size to hyacinths. So just keep in mind to plant in clusters to create fullness in these pink "giants"."

So Sweet!
"Beautiful small pink flowers! Every bulb came up AND flowered!"

Pretty in Spring!
"Nice blooms!"
— Suzie (5/5)
Beautiful early bloomers
"I planted these Glory of the Snow bulbs along a walkway in my front yard. They produced beautiful showy pink blooms, and every bulb appears to have blossomed. Though low to the ground, they made a very nice appearance when grouped against the walkway."
— Kitty (4/5)
Very Nice
"They bloom nice and early."
