'Jowey Nicky' Ball Dahlia seems almost lit from within as its petals glow with warm peach shades in a lovely ball-shaped form. A perfect complement for other summer bloomers such as roses, asters, Solidago, and of course other Dahlias, their tidy form adds a unique element to the summer-to-fall garden. With blossoms up to 4 inches across, they make a beautiful addition to cut flower arrangements.
Dahlias are perennial in zones 8-10, but in cooler zones, tubers can be dug after frost comes, stored over winter, then re-planted the following spring. Grow Dahlias in a sunny spot, in average soil that drains well. Keep moisture consistent once it begins to grow and enjoy a non-stop color parade.
