"This is my second year of blooms after planting these. Planted all bulbs together in a large patch. Only 3 of the 5 varieties were really a success, both years -- the 'Ice Follies" and "Mount Hood" look very similar when in bloom as the center starts out yellow and fades lighter/to white. I'd say 7-8 of the Ice Follies came up, 7-8 of the Mount Hood, 6 Cassata, 2-3 Cheerfulness, and none of the Double Poet's bloomed either year. In the second year the Ice Follies and Mount Hood began to multiply, the rest preformed worse than the previous year. Kind of a bummer that the more unique bulbs were the duds. Note, the Cheerfulness have a few small flowers on a single stem, and they're smaller than they appear in the photos shown here -- they also began to bloom a week or two after the other stems, as those were dying off, at least where I live in Zone 5b."
