All perennials and fall-planted bulbs are packaged to withstand shipping and are fully-guaranteed. Please open upon receipt and follow the instructions included.
Perennials and fall-planted bulbs are shipped at the proper planting time for your Growing Zone. Perennial and fall-planted bulb orders will arrive separately from seeds. If your order requires more than one shipment and all items are shipping to the same address, there is no additional shipping charge. "Last year's didn't come back. New ones bloomed, but they sure don't last long!"
"Love these deer-resistant harbingers of spring, but only about half of the bulbs came up, all one color. No yellows. Have had much better success when I've ordered single-color specie iris (blues and purples)."
"The first bloom came almost a month ago, and then, gradually others followed. This flower is long lasting, and bulbs appear very reliable. Most of my flowers are purple & blue, I wish I had some yellows for variety. The stems are shorter than I expected, all are 4-inch tall. But again, they are little cuties and most of them came up, so I am happy. Bulk planting is the way to go. Front row with crocuses would be a good match for these flowers. I would consider planting more for next year."
"I can't remember how many bulbs were included in this collection but only two bloomed. I think a couple more survived. I really like the bloom but not sure if the unusual Texas winter contributed to the issue."
"So pretty! I wish I had ordered more for this springs blooms. I'll order more for fall planting. Dainty, beautiful colors, each bulb produced flowers."
"I love these little irises! I plant more every year, but I didn't have any yellow ones in this batch."
"These are lovely. They came up with the crocuses on the sunny side of the yard, and ahead of the crocuses on the shady side. A little snow after they came up seemed to bother them not at all."
"I planted these in the fall as per directions as a border for my daffodils; the two flowers complement each other beautifully. These irises really do bloom early, even after one of the hardest Buffalo winters to date! My only complaint is that I had absolutely no yellow blooms. I had three shades of blue to purple, but no yellow. I am unsure if the bulbs with yellow blooms would have died, or if it's not guaranteed to have yellow in the mix? I did not find information related to this in the product information or other reviews."
"I planted these in fall 2013 and was so pleased to have flowers in March! They brightened up my walkway and my daughter loved that they were tiny irises, just her size. She helped me plant them and was quite pleased with her handiwork."
"These plants are the first things to bloom in my spring garden, beating out my crocuses by well over a week. The only ones I didn't see return in the second year were the yellows, but the blue and purple ones more than made up for the lack. Lovely colors, winter hardy, ridiculously early blooms and easy naturalizers; what could be better?"
