Description
(12-14" tall) 'White Prince' Single Early Tulips have snowy white blooms that blend naturally with tulips of every hue, and pair easily with other spring bulbs such as Muscari and Squill. Buds show a hint of yellow before opening. The single early tulips are excellent for forcing indoors for spring decor. In the garden, plant in autumn in a location that receives plenty of sunshine. Remember, trees will be bare when tulips bloom, so full sun conditions might be found in spots that are shaded part of the year. These hybrid tulips are hardy in zones 3 through 8, though performance typically declines after a season or two, so most gardeners prefer growing hybrid tulips as annuals.
