Overview
The delicate thread-leaf foliage of 'Big Bang™ Polaris Coreopsis' sets the stage for large snowy white flowers with a golden center. Blooming non-stop from summer through fall, it attracts butterflies and bees, as well as seed-eating songbirds, while being of no interest to rabbits and deer. This drought-tolerant native cultivar can be used for cut flowers and will gently spread when happy.

Description

'Big Bang™ Polaris' Coreopsis is an easy-care garden workhorse bread for larger flowers that practically does it all. Drought tolerant once established, this hardy native plant will grow to 20-24" tall and gently spread to 15-18" wide. In addition to supporting butterflies and bees, Coreopsis attracts sparrows, chickadees, finches, and other seed-eating birds to the seeds that form throughout the season. With its ability to spread, Coreopsis a great meadow or wildscape choice. Simply pull unwanted sprouts to keep things tidy, or pot some up for friends. Plant it in average soil with good drainage in a sunny location. Plant with other summer bloomers such as Echinacea, Penstemon, Salvia, and Agastache for a colorful, easy-care pollinator garden.
