Overview
Forming a low mat of attractive foliage and flowers, Creeping Veronica is an easy-care groundcover that even tolerates light foot traffic. From late spring through early summer, spikes of tiny, pale to dark blue flowers form on upright stems, brightening the garden and attracting pollinators. This versatile Veronica will gently form a deer-and-rabbit-resistant groundcover, without invading the garden. (Veronica)

Description
(6-8" tall x 12" wide) The trailing stems of Creeping Veronica form a beautiful blooming ground cover that bounces back after light foot traffic. The plant is also lovely cascading over a rock wall or the side of a planter, softening the edges and inviting a closer look at the simple, sweet blooms. Once the first flush of blooms is over, lightly shear the plants to encourage additional flowers. Creeping Veronica will gradually spread to cover bare spots without overtaking your prized perennials. Plant it along the edges of borders and pathways, create a perimeter of color in your containers, and let it shine in rock gardens and alpine gardens. Hardy in zones 4-8. Other common names include Creeping Speedwell, Rock Speedwell, Harebell Speedwell, and Prostrate Speedwell.
