Overview
With airy, feathery plumes and handsome, voluminous foliage, ‘Kneiffii’ Goat's Beard isn't as scruffy as it sounds. These arching plumes produce cream-colored blossoms in spring and summer, which last for 10 days and make beautiful cut flowers for displays. This native cultivar is a dainty, compact version of Goat's Beard, bred specially for smaller gardens or shady borders. This is a natural fit for woodland-style gardens.

Description
Kneiffi Goat's Beard (Aruncus dioicus 'Kneiffii') is a smaller native cultivar of the straight species of Goat's Beard. The species is native to woodland regions in eastern central United States and western Europe. ‘Kneiffi’ Goat's Beard grows up to 3 feet tall, with fewer flowers than its cousins in the Aruncus family. Plant Kneiffi Goat's Beard in partial shade where soil is moist, or in full sun where soil is consistently watered. Take care when choosing a growing space for Goat's Beard—these bulky plants are challenging to transport to different areas once established. Woodland gardeners love using Kneiffi Goat's Beard alongside landscaped paths amidst other native woodland wildflowers, such as Wild Ginger and Jacob's Ladder. You can cut long plumes to add to indoor floral displays once fully grown.
