Description
(36" tall x 12-24" wide) 'Haunted Heart' Bearded Iris stuns with violet laced white falls (outer petals) capped by grey-white standards (upper petals). Try it in a rock garden, near an entrance, or any spot that could use a lift. Blooming in mid spring, this award-winning perennial adds a calming presence to your landscape. With a height of 36", they are lovely with Peonies, Catmint, Salvia, and Allium. The vertical, green foliage adds interest as well. Plant it in enriched garden soil in a sunny location. Plant the rhizomes when you receive them with the top of the rhizome just above the soil line. Keep soil moist as the plant establishes, once established 'Haunted Heart' is a drought-tolerant, easy-to-grow perennial.
