Description
24-36" tall x 18" wide. Deep red petals harmonize with strap-like green foliage for non-stop late spring color. Tall Bearded Iris are garden essentials and these new (2008) hybrids have stunning color and hardy natures, making them essential for a water thrifty, colorful perennial bed or flower garden. Plant them just below the soil level, in average, well-drained soil in a full sun location. They make great cut flowers too! Bearded Iris will grow and spread over the years, multiplying their blooms. Just dig them up at season’s end (summer), every few years, when they’ve gotten crowded: clean and separate and voila! More rhizomes, ready to share, replant, and create new places to enjoy them.
