my annual rye did fabulously

"We just terraced our backyard, and I was worried at the quality of the soil left and looking for ways to improve it. I looked everywhere around home and could not find annual rye seed. Yours was reasonably priced and in a usable quantity for my needs. I'd never sown a cover crop before and was nervous to try, but it was easy and grew well, choking out most of the weeds that recur on my land. Talk about gorgeous! It was lush and green in late winter and early spring before we plowed it under. It seems to have done a good job of loosening the soil and nourishing it too. I'll use the remaining seeds this fall."
