Our Lance Leaf Coreopsis & Blue Flax Combo is a low-maintenance way to bring major color to your meadow. Both wildflowers are easy to grow, bee friendly, and will spread over time. Plant in full to part sun locations. A great choice for dry areas and poor soil. Coreopsis is a key to colorful blooms in established meadows; its' clumps are very tough and increase rapidly with more flowers year after year. Blue Flax spreads and naturalizes easily in dry soils and sunny meadows, making it an excellent option for covering your hillsides with wildflowers.

Beautiful and tough

"The blue flax germinated but I won't see blooms until next year. The coreopsis is unbelievable! High germination rate and abundant, long-lasting blooms under less-than-optimal conditions: over 40 days of 110 degree (or higher!) temperatures. Yet this resilient plant just keeps blooming and when the blooms stop, the green foliage is still very attractive (no browning, no drooping). Just one watering in the morning and coreopsis keeps producing. Popular with pollinators and unpopular with rabbits! This is a perfect plant for summer desert gardens (Zone 9)."
