"I had removed all existing grass. Put down black plastic to kill anything. Had loamy soil trucked in. Purchased a transfer pump for watering and hoped for the best. Unfortunately didn't take as I had hoped. Not many daisies and absolutely no lupine"
"Not gonna lie, I bought it because there was a picture of a Chow Chow. Daisies came up so easily the second year! Lupines didn't take as well, even after sprinkling some ashes in the garden prior. I'd definitely try again with this set though! My Chow Chow was too busy looking for rabbits to pose for an epic flowery photo, but maybe one day my doggo will fulfill my epic chow chow photo dreams!"

This easy-to-grow, long-lasting combination will offer up purple and white blooms year after year, naturalizing in your garden or meadow. Lupine and Daisies are deer resistant, drought tolerant, and make for charming cut flower bouquets. Perfect for a wildflower garden, meadow, lining a fence, and everywhere in between. Plant this combination in the fall or sprinkle seed on bare soil in the spring once all chance of frost has passed. Perennial blooms appear in the second season and will reappear for many years to come.
A note on Lupinus perennis (wild lupine): This species is the sole larval host plant for the Karner Blue Butterfly, a federally endangered species with remaining populations in New Hampshire, New York, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Ohio. Because our seed is produced through open pollination, even with industry-standard best practices we cannot fully rule out that some cross-pollination with other lupine varieties may occasionally occur.
To help protect Karner Blue Butterfly habitat, we do not recommend planting Lupinus perennis from seed in the following active recovery states: NY, NH, IN, IL, OH, MN, WI, MI or Ontario, Canada.
