"Didn't have great luck with the seeds. I think we had too many birds, gophers, etc that came to feast even with some netting to cover the seeds. I've seen straw recommended to cover instead so might try that if we try again this year. I did put the zinnias in a pot instead of ground and those bloomed nicely!"
"This is the first time I experimented with wild flowers. First time having a fairly large area to start out with. I am totally pleased. When first ""planted"" and a week pasted I was a little in doubt but now with August upon us. It is truly a beautiful attraction. Have cut some of the flowers and have pressed some for future use."
"Isimply prepped an area of our front garden that was neglected hoping it had enought sun and scattered the seed. Germination was high and just like clockwork the plants emerged and as summer progressed they began to bloom. some watering was necessary initially but after that rain took care of the new plants. It turns out this area only gets about 4-5 hrs of sun but I'm still getting almost 100% flowering anyway. Next year I'll overseed with the shade tolerant mix and expect even better results if possible!"
"I can't believe how easy it was to just dump the seeds into a spot, mix up the soil and leave them. Admittedly, I wish I had done things a little bit more neatly but that is 100% my fault. Despite the fact that I have really done nothing to make my little section of wildflower in my front garden, a success, I have had so many beautiful surprises from that little section of my garden. And that's despite them being drowned every time it rains. I do think it would be interesting to see if being more careful with how I planted the seeds would yield different types of flowers, but for right now I have been so excited watching what flowers thrive in the conditions I've given them."
"East to follow instructions with beautiful results. Will expand other areas for Wildflowers in Spring of 2026"
"Love the ease! I overseeded and it came out great. Used the seeds along the fence lines to hide neighbors weeds Can wait till next season to see what returns"
"New wildflower patch in our yard"
"They came in sparse the first year but the second it was beautiful. When they go to seed I am cutting them and spreading them all around the perimeter of my property. When they start to go to seed it lays down so you can see how it would naturally spread throughout the years into a beautiful meadow. They are standing tall in this heat. The deer do not touch them. My neighbors said they look beautiful."
"We planted these to attract bees and butterflies and to give our yard some color during the dry summer. It has been a success on all fronts!"
"Yard was dug up! Mulch wasn't going to be enough. These make me happy everytime i walk through."
