How do we use your location?
Knowing your location helps us recommend plants that will thrive in your climate, based on your Growing Zone.
(16-18” tall) Cassata Daffodil (Narcissus ‘Cassata’) is an old favorite that folds its large lemon-yellow cup back against pure white petals – almost matching them in size. As it ages, the 4” cup fades to white. All sections of the flower have a delicate translucence about them, beautifully capturing the essence of spring. ‘Cassata’ is a mid-season bloomer and can extend your Daffodil season if planted with early-and late-season Daffodils, or with other contrasting bulbs like Muscari. Daffodils are remarkably hardy bulbs and remain at the top of the list for deer resistant flowers. Naturalize ‘Cassata’ in a meadow, or along a stream bank for a delicate accent, and don’t forget to cut a few of the strong blooms for indoor bouquets. Plant 6” deep in well-drained, well-fed soil with a position in full sun or light shade.
As soon as your order is placed you will receive a confirmation email. You will receive a second email the day your order ships telling you how it has been sent. "I planted the 8 bulbs I ordered with some other daffodil varieties in a large patch. 6 of them came up. They start out with the yellow center as seen in the photos here, note that fades to light yellow, nearly white as the days pass."
"These are very pretty daffodils. They look just like the picture. All the bulbs came up."
"This is the first type of daffodil to bloom in my yard and they are all beautiful. Probably planted 30 or so and every single one has blooms. Start out yellow then fade to a creamy yellow."
