Every bulb gardener knows that Snowdrops are the very earliest bulbs to bloom, and are tiny. Well, now they have a 'giant' companion, and these new beauties wait until most other bulbs are finished, and then raise their beautiful nodding white flowers on stems up to 16.' They look a bit like a tall version of Lily of the Valley...a great new addition to extend your bulb season. Easy and dependable perennial.
As soon as your order is placed you will receive a confirmation email. You will receive a second email the day your order ships telling you how it has been sent. Some perennials are shipped as potted plants, some as perennial roots packed in peat. The ‘Plant Information’ section describes how that item will ship. All perennials and fall-planted bulbs are packaged to withstand shipping and are fully-guaranteed. Please open upon receipt and follow the instructions included.

If your order requires more than one shipment and all items are shipping to the same address, there is no additional shipping charge. "I want to buy more but I'm not sure about the supplier's stock. The snowdrops emerged and had a few flowers and then I noticed brown mites on the leaves and they yellowed shortly after. The regular sized snowdrops, crocuses, and blue flower bulbs I also bought were not affected so far. Only the giant snowdrops. I've been told to dig up the bulbs to prevent their spread to the healthy stock."
"I have read that all snowdrop bulbs are prone to dessiccation and the best way to spread them is by dividing in the spring right after blooming. Since I didn't have giant snowdrops, when I purchased them here with shipment in the fall, my expectations were low. All I hoped for is for just a few to come up and then (good multipliers that they are) I will be able to have many eventually. Well, to my surprise almost all (6 out of 8) came up and blooming beautifully. On the photo only one bloom shown (easier to capture flower shape), but they have many on each stem. I would recommend when you plant these not to wait any day once received in the mail. American Meadows did not disappoint and yet again delivered a quality product."

"I buy most of American Meadows products when they're on sale, and typically I choose the 50% off sales. Often, I am disappointed because only 50% of the bulbs, or slightly more, come up. Because of that, I often think to myself that there is no such thing as a 50% off sale at American Meadows. Not so with these bulbs. I think ALL of them came up. They're blooming now, and I cannot express how much I enjoy them, along my walkway, by my front step, and in a miniature garden right next to the parking space beside the driveway. These beautiful blooms are the just the thing to elicit a smile when leaving the house, or when returning home in spring when the season is just getting started. A "happy" welcome to the outdoor season and to home all at the same time. These are very pretty! If all customers who order these bulbs make their purchase based on the photo and the product description, and if they get products as good as the ones I got in my 50% off sale (an advance purchase that I paid for and waited months for delivery last fall), and if they plant them according to the planting instructions, I cannot imagine that they'll be anything but happy with giant snowdrops. Based on my experience with this purchase on this particular occasion, I can highly recommend these bulbs to other customers!"
