(18-20" tall) 'Ronaldo' Triumph Tulip makes garden design a breeze with a rich burgundy color that is incredibly versatile. Layer with mauve, ruby red, or apricot tulips, or plant among midseason daffodils for a complimentary color combination. Make a dramatic statement by pairing with white tulips, daffodils, and hyacinths – the choices are endless. Plant in masses for a best visual impact. Triumph tulips are hybrids between single early and single late tulips, resulting in a mid-season bloomer with strong stems and exceptional weather tolerance. This group includes the greatest variety of tulips colors, but bulbs bloom for only a few years. Extend their life by removing spent flowers as soon as they fade, and leaving foliage in place to die back naturally.

"Ronaldo is a great color, deep rich wine red with a plummy flush on the exterior of the petals. The blooms are really small though, I'm disappointed with their size. They started to bloom a little bit after Salmon van Eijk had opened, so the two have been blooming at the same time and the color combination is really nice. However, the size difference between the two varieties is significant and makes the combination look a bit off. I would recommend for the color, but with the caveat that they are small."
"I put these in pots with the Salmon Van Eijk Darwin, and I'm loving the result! This was my first year trying tulips, and I'm hooked. They are the perfect Spring bloom addition to my little gardens!"
"I planted the Ronaldo tulips on both sides of my driveway and they exceeded all my expectations. They were among the first tulips of spring and looked fabulous on April 1, 2023 (when these photos were taken) and today, nine days later, they are still beautiful. They are definitely a deep, dark purple almost veering into near-black territory. In the sun, they are lovely and seem to have an almost iridescent shine to them. I am going to plant more of these."
"Great color and plant in grouping"
