How do we use your location?
Knowing your location helps us recommend plants that will thrive in your climate, based on your Growing Zone.
One of our all-time favorites among wildflowers! The lovely bloom is associated with a romantic legend: A medieval knight, gathering blue flowers along a stream for his lady love, was suddenly swept away by flood waters. As he disappeared, he tossed the bouquet to his lady with the immortal words, “Forget me not.”

"A few years ago I planted these in several cottage gardens. The following year their blooms were eye-catching bright. I was stunned by how quickly the seeds spread in subsequent years. I recommend sowing them along with yellow flowers in bloom concurrently because they're so bright they can otherwise visually overwhelm a garden. With the right complimentary colors, they're fantastic. A high germination rate and tendency to spread turns what seems a very high price into a great value in subsequent years."
"I spread the forget me seeds in lots of different areas, sun, shade, partial sun and shade. We have had plenty of rain in the area all summer long. No luck."
"Planted these last fall, and after the first thaw in January I could see their little green seedlings had been growing under the snow cover. I think just about every seed took, meaning I had to move some to other gardens to allow them to grow. Their leaves look different from the forget me nots pictured here, they are fatter round leaves, with very very tiny flowers, smallest forget me not flowers I've seen. But blooming very happy in my garden. The portion that gets full sun is doing way better than the partial sun portion of the garden, so I would say these are for sure a full sun plant. I'm happy with how they are doing overall, and would order again."
"This is the most beautiful of perennials. The plants are lovely early in the season with blooms covering what looks like a green birds nest upside down. Later the leaves develop stems and are leggier, with flowers stop, but still lovely. This is the best and most reliable blue flower I know of, heavenly massed in the garden."
"Nice flowers; reliable germination and blooms."
"We use these wonderful flowers all over our wildflower garden and also in our shady raised beds. They are delightful. When I deadhead them, they often bloom a second time! A great flower for shady areas."
"The deer in my area will browse on almost anything, whether or not it is "deer resistent. " But they never touch the forget-me-nots. What a find! And the color is so lovely."
"i have forget-me-nots in every shady nook and cranny in my garden. They have naturalised beautifully and reward me every spring by reflecting the sky onto my garden, and attracting and feeding the earliest of the wild bees."
