Seeds are coming up great!!

"Seeds are coming up great!! No stalks or flowers yet."

I would but this product again

"i planted pots and also a border and the plants are looking healthy and growing. We've also had a long streak of high temps which impacted the growth but so far they're thriving."

Came up and all bloomed first year!!!

"I wanted Hollyhocks like my mom had on our farm when I was growing up. . . she now has the doubles but I wanted the old fashion singles. . . . Planted them in spring and they grew fast. . . . but I didn't expect all of them to get buds to bloom their first year! They are loaded with flowers. . . . not all have opened yet but I have a few white ones. . . . several shades of pink and some even look ruffled. It was a new bed so they took it over. . . . . lol truely beautiful and I'm so lucky they did so well the first year. . . . wow! Hope I get more colors as most are various shares of pink but still I'm very happy. . . . thank you!"

I would purchase again.

Classic Beauties!

"I love Hollyhocks and these grew and bloomed perfectly. I even had one precocious plant bloom the first year. My only complaint is that the Japanese Beetles love them, so they look pretty for about a week after blooming until the Beetles swarm in and eat them. I haven't tried any means of pest control, but will have to if I decide to grow these again. The beetles leave all of the other plants alone, then once they eat the hollyhocks they disappear. so I guess if you wanted to protect your other plants you could use the hollyhocks as a decoy. haha!"

Beautiful Old Fashioned Hollyhocks

"These hollyhock seeds were extremely healthy, all came up the first year. Even after a severely cold winter for our area, they have popped their heads out once again! I can't wait to see their beautiful blooms this year for the first time. Thank you American Meadows for giving back to me, my Grandma's favorite garden flower."
