Our Monarch Magnet Pre-Planned Garden includes expertly selected plants that attract and support the entire lifespan of Monarch butterflies. Give these long-lived perennial plants plenty of space to spread and establish themselves, and graceful Monarchs are sure to arrive.
*Not all plants will be in bloom at the same time, as depicted in the illustration. Plants are subject to change due to availability. If we make substitutions, we feature plants with similar attributes suitable to the garden design.

As soon as your order is placed you will receive a confirmation email. You will receive a second email the day your order ships telling you how it has been sent. Some perennials are shipped as potted plants, some as perennial roots packed in peat. The ‘Plant Information’ section describes how that item will ship. All perennials and fall-planted bulbs are packaged to withstand shipping and are fully-guaranteed. Please open upon receipt and follow the instructions included.
Perennials and fall-planted bulbs are shipped at the proper planting time for your Growing Zone. Perennial and fall-planted bulb orders will arrive separately from seeds. If your order requires more than one shipment and all items are shipping to the same address, there is no additional shipping charge. "The descriptions states ships as potted plants. What we actually received were beginning green shoots in small 2 -3 inch containers not the typical 1 gallon container that most perennials are sold in from in person nurseries. Ver misleading and extremely disappointing. We are very concerned that these need shoots will not have enough time and strength to survive the winter season now."

"I received my garden plants in the fall and planted them promptly. I had to deviate from the supplied layout slightly to accommodate my garden bed shape. All 18 plants are thriving in year 1! I can only imagine how beautiful this garden will be completely filled out in the next couple of years. The hum of bees and butterflies fill my garden!"

Milkweeds failed to grow
"Planted everything within a few days of arrival. Everything other than the milkweeds is doing really well. Filled out way more quickly than I was expecting. Disappointed in that not one of the milkweeds has shown any sign of growing. I purchased the garden rather than individual plants as I thought it would be easier but with multiple plants failing to grow, that probably was the wrong decision."

Great Customer Service
"It was conveniently shipped to arrive on a Friday. USPS was a day late (as usual in my area). Plants were still alive and well (good packaging/quality. ) I was not able to put them in the ground until the next day. I realized after hours that my garden maps had not been packaged with them (which was unfortunate because I ordered 2 pre-planned gardens. I emailed my grievances. Shawnee was kind enough to immediately get back to me after hours so my pants could go in right away! Very happy with the quick response. Excited to watch them grow. A few things were swapped (as expected/mentioned in purchasing information. ) I hoped for everything that was originally listed, but understand sometimes things need to change. Thank you!"
