"My best results: 1soaked seeds in water overnight 2 nicked end of seeds with a knife 3 planted seeds in mini trays with a knife 4 placed seed trays in sunny spot outdoors 5 watered 6 transplanted to soil when 2-3 inches tall. The seeds I planted in the ground did poorly, my seeds in the trays came thru 100%. I planted my seedlings along a fence that was already covered with wild white morning glories, but Inwanted to add color to the fence."
"I germinated these plants inside and they did well. Getting them from seedling to plant was a bit difficult and then I was infested with Spider Mites. They weathered my in-experience like a champ and are now gently blooming. Neat year I will sow right in the ground and see if I do better"

"Morning glories are beautiful, and this blue is stunning. But they can be VERY invasive. Their many gorgeous flowers have many seeds in them that will re-seed themselves. Every year, you will have more and more and more. Be prepared for a section where getting rid of them is very difficult."

"I live in Zone 7 (Texas) where it is dry and hot. Morning glories love it here. If you put out seeds along a fence, they'll cover the entire fence in once season. These heavenly blue morning glories tend to bloom longer into the day and also later in the season than other morning glories. Here in Texas, I still had lots of blooms last November. I soak the seeds in a glass of water for 48 hours (sometimes even another day or so) and then just scatter them on the ground in April. Then I either walk over them or press them with something a bit into the ground. I've also had success with them if I put a thin layer of dirt over them. Then I water them regularly for a week or so. That's all that's needed. From then on, they keep growing and growing and eventually blooming and blooming. They reseed easily and you'll have new plants the following spring. I love them."

Morning Glories are fast-growing, vigorous climbing vines with profuse, brightly colored blooms. This variety produces sky blue, funnel-shaped flowers with a tinge of yellow in the throat.
Provide a sturdy trellis, pergola or other support for the vines, which get large -- and heavy -- by the middle of the summer. Vines grow up to 15' tall.
Morning glories have tough seed coats. To speed up the germination process, soak seeds in warm water for several hours before planting.
