Our No Mow Lawn & Microclover Seed Mix is the perfect solution for a self-sustaining lawn. The lawn features our No Mow Grass, a mix of low-growing grasses that are soft and highly resilient. Microclover has been gaining popularity around the world as a natural solution for healthy, low-maintenance lawns. This durable, easy-to-grow mix is a great option for high traffic areas like home lawns, athletic fields, parks, and even slopes. It will grow in full sun to partial shade. It thrives in light to moderate shade, including under trees with indirect light. It can also tolerate growing under black walnut trees and spruce trees, if the walnuts and pine needles are removed.
This quick-growing lawn will germinate in about 10-14 days when the conditions are right; the cool season grasses establish best in spring or fall.
This mix is best for use in the Northeast, Mid Atlantic, Midwest, and Pacific Northwest. For states along the southern US border and warmer zones, we recommend warm season grasses.

"I used this mix to fill in some bare spots in my lawn. It grew quickly and is lovely! I plan to add more next year!"
"l after carefully establishing the lawn area the first season we had a normal winter with approximately 10 feet of snow. The clover did not return and most of the grass died off. What did come back with clump grass? I added fertilizer and a topper for year two with very mixed results. We live within the zone recommend recommendations for the seed mix and very disappointed."
"Spread seeds on Saturday. Started to see sprouts a week later. I'm in "always rainy" Houston. Will order more!!!"
"In just over 8 weeks my brand new (and naked) lawn had lush lawn and microclover growing. In all, I think I watered this seed mix for 30 minutes daily for the next 10 - 14 days. Wildlife is loving my lawn, and I'm loving how maintenance free this is going to be in my life."
"We bought the micro clover grass mixture and seeded the second week of April. We covered lightly with straw and watered daily. Germination was patchy & less than 10%. As we had bought 10 lbs of expensive seed I called American Meadows after 5 weeks for help. American Meadows replaced my seed!! We have since reseeded and it is doing amazing. The customer service with American Meadows is some of the best I've seen. We live in Nevada high desert."
"I planted micro clover/grass seed mix in a troublesome lawn area… very acidic, lots of moss, giant red oak trees. I covered the area with topsoil and planted the seed, straw for a light cover and watered daily. The seed germinated quickly and is becoming thicker over these past 6 weeks. Very pleased with the outcome!"
"Turned our scrubby back yard to a soft green oasis."
"I didn't follow directions, not recommended for overseeding which is what I did. 2 ways I know of to get rid of existing lawn is to burn with fertilizer or rent/pay to scrape or roto till. Neither r cheap, both require alot of money and time. I just cut grass on lowest setting, rented dethatcher and used that and then rented a scarifyer, think that's how it's spelled, and used that. Did all that in one day, next morning cut grass on lowest setting again and then overseeded. The existing grass protects seeds to some degree from birds and helps stop sun and wind from drying out soil. And with money saved from starting over, I can buy extra seed next year to fix areas that might need help. I have 3 dogs, not going to stop using yard while growing new grass. Is what it is. . I seem to have same issue as most reviews, all clover and no grass growing. So next time I'm just going to buy clover here and go somewhere else for grass seed."
"I had very high hopes for this seed. Our contractor purchased the original 50 lbs and I purchased an additional 15 lbs. Very little has germinated, very patchy. At this point we are dissatisfied with this product."
"Fescue $ clove both germinated within a week"
