The Painted Daisy is famous for adding really stunning masses of color to any planting. The flowers are similar to Gazania, but on taller stems. Concentric circles of color highlight almost every bloom, but often no two are exactly alike. "Lovely flowers, large bloom with different color variation. Very easy. I scattered the seeds last Fall and they came up in the Spring. I think they are supposedly fall blooming flowers. I suppose in our mild climate (10B), they can bloom in Spring. Certainly not complaining. I hope they bloom year round like Flanders Poppy, another one of my favorites from American Meadows."
