"The first time I received this plant, it looked a bit rough out of the box. I planted it and tried to bring it back to life, but it died. Customer service promptly replaced it and I received a second one within a week. Unfortunately, that one died too. I think this plant is getting shipped too small and it's not able to survive the journey. However, customer service was great and they provided a full refund. It's a shame this plant isn't offered in a bigger size. Perhaps then it would have survived."
"Purchased for butterfly attraction. However, two of the three plants died. The third is not looking too good."
"This died completely within a couple of weeks being planted. Hope you honor your guarantee"
"Received the plants and was excited to put them in my raised bed. . . unfortunately the evening I planted them it rained very hard and now I have two left and some sticks"
"this plant brightens up the flower garden."
"I have this in my pollinator garden, but it struggling. Not sure why."
"I am a beginning gardener and was attracted to the variety available on the american meadows website. I selected this plant to add to my small, but growing garden. The communication received from American meadows regarding processing and shipping was accurate and timely. The plant came well packaged and healthy. I planted it outside and it seemed to be ok. This year, a rabbit has moved into our backyard. I chose this as it was noted as "rabbit-resistant" but unfortunately this rabbit is not dettered. Every time the plant seems to grow, I come back the next day to find it's top chewed off. I will see what happens throughout this year, but at this point it is not "getting off the ground"."
"Plants were very small and have not grown much."
"I just want to point out that katewalsh gave the plants a 'con' because it got "bug eggs all over it". THAT'S THE POINT! This is the ONLY food monarch caterpillars can eat. It makes me so sad when someone does something ignorant like this--destroying the eggs of all those butterflies, which are in desperate trouble."
"Better than seeds where many reviews said no grow"
