A native wildflower beloved for its brilliant red tufted blooms atop tall, sturdy stems, Scarlet Bee Balm is favored by hummingbirds, butterflies, and pollinators as a source of abundant nectar. Deliciously fragrant foliage is deer and rabbit resistant. Tall and dramatic, this wildflower spreads readily, ideal for rain gardens, cottage gardens, and an intriguing backdrop in perennial borders. (Monarda)

Satisfied

"I was surprised that one (of three) plants was pink and another was lavender with only one actually scarlet. Not a complaint, just a surprise."

Jane (5/5)

Plants are healthy!

"We've had these bee balms from another company before, which did well for many years. We just got 5 of these plants from American Meadows and they arrived in good shape. We just planted them and so far, they're growing."

Survived its first year ok

"It was smaller than I thought. Seem to struggle to produce one flower and get through the season. I may have planted it too close to other monarda that were larger and dwarfed it. I plan to transplant it where it has more room and more sun. We'll see what happens then."

RR (3/5)

I will try again with this product

"The plant did really well for about the first month but then, unfortunately, the weather became so hot, that all of my plants I ordered last year died. I'll be trying it again."

"Beautiful, very colorful"
