Rudbeckia ‘Prairie Sun’ produces gorgeous daisy-like blooms from early-summer through frost. Large, 5-inch flowers bear overlapping rings of orange petals tipped in lemon-yellow and surrounding a bright green eye. Flowers stand atop tall sturdy stems perfect for cutting and attract scores of butterflies. Low maintenance and deer resistant. (Rudbeckia hirta)

Good buy

"Plants arrived very healthy looking and packed very well for shipping. Glad I bought."

It didn't survive.

"I planted, watered & properly cared for this plant. I just don't believe they were healthy plants that I received in the first place."

Jhersey (1/5)

Great plant

"I've had nothing but great plants from American Meadows and this is no exception. Arrived healthy and growing and took right off when planted."

Jojan (5/5)

Beautiful!

"These are doing great in an area that for unknown reasons I'm having trouble growing other flowers, including supposedly easy growers. I plan on testing the soil and possibly treating for grubs. But these beauties are shining! #sweepstakes"

Mari (5/5)

Great plant

"Planted a teeny tiny plant last september-ish and now in June (zone 6b), plants are 3 feet tall and full of flowers. (Sorry the photo I have on my phone also shows my snap peas)"

Sam (5/5)

Just Beautiful

"This is a new plant and is still very small. I had one of these previously, but my new gardener thought it was a weed and pulled it along with another one. Grrrrr. The previous ones grew beautifully and looked as good as the pictures on the website. I bought two of each of the new flowers and anticipate some beautiful flowers over the years. These plants are hardy and the flowers on the stalk stay beautiful for a long time before they die."

Pat (5/5)

Big and Beautiful

"I added these to my new cottage/perennial garden and they steal the show. Bright and bold they look great amongst the coneflowers. Would definitely buy again."

Lots of long lasting blooms

"Received 3 healthy plants. When blooms started 1 was like a variant of the other 2, but very close. All doing well. Fine display!"
