Amazing Grace Creeping Phlox welcomes spring with a flush of white blooms bearing a vibrant magenta eye. Petals may take on a flush of pink to complement the rosy highlights. Needle-like, evergreen foliage forms a dense mat making a lush groundcover perfect for cascading over walls or across slopes. Flowers attract butterflies to the garden. (Phlox subulata)

Arrived looking rough.

"I have ordered creeping phlox from American Meadows before, and they have arrived in good shape and done well. I ordered 6 of this Amazing Grace this year. Two look okay, and the other 4 look terrible. I am not sure they are even worth planting. I will give them a try, but they are in bad shape on arrival!"

Love my Amazing Grace Creeping Phlox!

"We love having this Amazing Grace Creeping Phlox in our front yard flowerbed. It was planted in honor and memory of my grandma, who was named Grace, and they have established it beautifully!"

Phlox

"I followed all instructions and the plants all died. Very disappointed in this plant."

Great performance

"I selected this plant to cascade over a natural rock wall. My primary objective was to make lawn maintenance easier by creating a buffer zone between the rocks and the grass. American Meadows sent out small plugs in the fall to me in zone 4B. During the first growing season those small plugs have grown into 6-7 inch diameter plants with profuse flowers. I couldn't be happier."

A welcomed sight in the spring!

"This beauty really filled out fast! The darling white with pink accents are so lovely as spring starts to bring blooms. The plants are very hardy and fill in nicely. The pictures are of their second spring in the ground. Will be adding more this year for sure!"

Beautiful results

"I planted these to use as a border in my front yard flower bed. They bloomed beautifully in spring and have survived both the drought and the deer and the rabbits. So I'm extremely satisfied."

Beautiful flowers, okay quality

"Our phlox arrived wilted and partially brown after remaining in transit an extra 7 days after it was supposed to arrive. We planted it immediately and are hoping it survives. I got a shipment of six plants last fall, too and only three of them survived. I'll be sticking to local nurseries from now on, and recommend others do the same."

My plants were healthy before the heat waves in my area.

"These plants were healthy upon arrival and I couldn't have been more excited upon receiving them. They were packaged well to survive their shipment and I couldn't wait to get them in the ground and established. I bought these plants to plant in honor of my Grandma Grace, who passed away in 2020. Unfortunately, due to heat waves and water restrictions in my area during the heat of the summer this year, my plants suffered and were unable to establish themselves this season. However, I will be getting more to replant in the spring because I cannot wait to get them established in my yard so that I can enjoy their simplistic beauty."

Simply awful packing

"The plants were very poorly secured in the box and had come completely out of their pots and lost considerable soil around root balls. There was nothing holing their small cardboard sleeves in place in a much larger box. I'll be surprised if they survive. Treated with Superthrive and planted promptly and gently, to try to give them a chance."
