'Purple D'Oro' Reblooming Daylily is a standout variety bred from its namesake, the ever-popular and bloom-packed 'Stella D'Oro'. With lavender-purple flowers that delight throughout the summer and finish the season strong with a second wave of blooms come fall, 'Purple D'Oro' is an easy care plant that asks little of the gardener. Small but healthy looking -- few flowers

"All 6 lilies arrived looking small but healthy (bright green leaves, not at all dried out). I planted them immediately in full sun with a little rooting solution to encourage them to settle in and generous watering for the first two weeks or so. Their foliage has expanded, but they're still pretty small. Of the 6, only one flowered this first year (two blooms, a little more maroon/red than the purply tone in the picture). I'm hoping to get more flowers next year once they're well established."

Wish I had bought more bulbs

"Every time I think that this plant is ready to go into dormancy, it blooms again. As soon as it is fed, it blooms again. When all the other colour in the garden is diminishing, this plant is still blooming. It is my joy to go into the garden and see it bloom. My one regret - that I did not buy more."

This is a gorgeous daylily, blooming for first time currentl

"This is an absolutely gorgeous color, I love it and hope it does rebloom later this year"

Anya (5/5)

They have done well so far, no blooming this first summer.

"So far the plants have become established, this is the first year so we missed any blooming season. I haven't lost a plant yet."

Easy to grow

"Easy to grow and provides steady color. Nice addition to the simple yellow of traditional stella d'oro."

Can't wait for the blooms!

"Love Daylilies! So have been looking for one that would re-bloom all summer! Can't wait for the blooms to appear on the three plants that I received. They have come on nicely so far this Spring. Now just waiting for blooms!"

Strong, productive and lovely

"Daylily plants are strong and highly productive. They bloom the first year planted, and almost doubled in size by the second, established year."

I would buy this product again.

"I planted a row of lilies along a fence and this was one of the kind I put there."

Daylily Purple D'Oro

"Really can't wait to see if they grow-have the yellow and red ones already, growing well; hope these do the same"

Colors a little too intense

"All fans of this daylily are blooming wonderfully year and I'm VERY happy with that. I just wish the colors were a little less intense. I was really hoping for more the soft lavender of the product photo, but they really came out with very rich purples and rich bright yellow/green centers (see attached photo). But different amounts of light and soil yield different colors."
