Early to bloom and easy to care for, 'Stella D'Oro' Reblooming Daylily is a compact plant and a great choice for edging the front of the garden. Rich, golden yellow blooms come in strong in early to mid summer, and a reblooming habit brings them on again later in the season. Fragrant. (Hemerocallis)

Not a one. . .

"Ordered a bag of 30 tubers along with Gladiator Alliums and Prairie dropseed grass, and planted them in October of '24. The Alliums practically jumped out of the ground this spring, nice and big, and the grass is coming right along. Not a single one of the Daylillies came up, and I was most looking forward to them."

They bloom May-October, Zone 6

"I love the compact habit of these daylilies - the flowers stay right with the foliage. Very very easy to grow - they take practically no care. Occasionally (every 3-5 years) dig them up and chop them into four of six pieces - give them away or cover a huge area this way."

Strong, healthy plants

"My plants are five years old - last spring, I divided them and gave half away. They are healthy and hard to kill, and they flower abundantly I like how compact the flower stalks are - the flowers stay right with the foliage instead of towering above."

I would buy this product again from this company

"The bulbs were in good shape when I received them and I planted them the next day and in acouple of weeks they were growing."

Only 1 out of the 3 bulbs has come up

"Only one of the 3 bulbs has come up out of the ground, which is disappointing. The bulbs looked good when I received them and I planted them according to the directions. A flower bud exists but it's too early for it to bloom at the end of May. I may buy another collection because I would like to see more of these in my garden but I would not buy another collection if the same thing happens."

Not Deer Resistant!

"I planted these lilies about 20 years ago, & I don't remember where I got them, but I can't praise the plants enough. They're reliably lovely year after year, tolerant of poor conditions, & very low maintenance. One word of caution though: this year for the 1st time the deer ate them, & we have the Ring video proof. A mere 2-3 days after they bloomed, a single deer visited around 3AM & methodically munched every single blossom. So, a word to the wise."

Beautiful results, and fast!

"I planted my Stella D'Oro lilies within hours after they were delivered, following the instructions. Within just a few days there were healthy, green shoots, and then they surprised me by flowering -- which I wasn't expecting until later! Every one of the nine plants I bought has been doing great. I live in north central Florida, and not everything is easy to grow here, especially during this warm time of year, so I am very pleased!"

First year and pleased

"The Stella D'Oros ,at arrival, were smaller than expected but after they were planted in May they filled in nicely by August and produced blooms throughout the months. I am looking forward next season."

Dependable daylily

"I used this variety for a neighbor's backyard planting. I personally prefer "collector" plantings, but I use dependable, proved varieties for neighbors eithout much gardening experience Stella del Oro is exceptional for use where they will not be "coddled"."

Love these

"I've planted daylillies all around my garden and landscape and find this particular variety is the easiest to grow and the hardiest. It can handle rainy as well as dry periods. It continues to be the best one of all."
