'Bonfire' Euphorbia is likely to ignite a lifelong interest in this fabulous plant family! Forming a mound of orange, purple, and red foliage in the spring and summer that deepens to red in the fall, 'Bonfire' has one more trick up its sleeve: bright yellow bracts opening like flowers on the stem tips in late spring. Plant to add texture and structure to complement flowers and grasses in drier soils or sloped locations like rock gardens. (Euphorbia polychroma)

I was really disappointed; the

"I was really disappointed; the plant was very poorly packaged, with dirt scattered everywhere when it arrived. There were only a few bent stems to begin with and they were dried out. The plant was not healthy and certainly not robust. I have been struggling to nurse it back from the dead. It now has a stem about two inches tall, with a few leaves along one side of the stem and a few at the top. I will not buy plants from American Meadows again. I'll wait and see if my dahlia tubers sprout."

Purchase was ok

"1 of the 3 plants I ordered arrived in way less than desirable condition. The other 2 were borderline ok. I planted everything anyways, hoping roots were still ok. Clearly they were not on one of the plants, as only 2 of the 3 bare root plants took off. They still haven't really taken off since being put in the garden. These were on a flash sale, but in hindsight, it was just so that inventory in less than desirable condition could be pushed out the door."

I will buy this product again

"These look great. They are just settling in but they look healthy. We'll see how they fill out with time."
