How do we use your location?
Knowing your location helps us recommend plants that will thrive in your climate, based on your Growing Zone.
Dalmation Rose is an unusual foxglove because it blooms the first year. We encourage deadheading the first-year flowers by removing the flower stem to the base of the plant. This will help promote overwintering and a second year of flowers. By letting seeds form, new foxgloves will self-sow and produce future generations. These new plants can be moved in their first year when they are still small.
As soon as your order is placed you will receive a confirmation email. You will receive a second email the day your order ships telling you how it has been sent. Some perennials are shipped as potted plants, some as perennial roots packed in peat. The ‘Plant Information’ section describes how that item will ship. All perennials and fall-planted bulbs are packaged to withstand shipping and are fully-guaranteed. Please open upon receipt and follow the instructions included.
Perennials and fall-planted bulbs are shipped at the proper planting time for your Growing Zone. Perennial and fall-planted bulb orders will arrive separately from seeds. If your order requires more than one shipment and all items are shipping to the same address, there is no additional shipping charge. See our shipping information page for approximate ship dates and more detailed information. If you have any questions, please call Customer Service at (802) 227-7200 or contact us by email or chat.

"I planted these last year and they bloomed within the first year. I was worried that they wouldn't come back this year, but in the fall, after the blooms had past I cut the stocks of the flowers back to encourage a second year out of them. Luckily, all 3 of the Dalmation Pink I planted last spring came back this year and have buds on them or are already in bloom. So glad to get a second year out of them. Let's see if I can continue it for a third."
"Beautiful!"
"This Foxglove reminds me of my mothers garden back in England."
"It demands to be noticed with its height."
"Foxgloves are a very old plant, we had loads in the garden in England when i was growing up. A really beautiful plant which i hope will reproduce for next year."
"Can't believe how big the plants have grown. Can't wait to see them bloom in the Spring."
