"I picked this flower on a whim and I have been pleasantly surprised at how beautiful and full they have bloomed. The bees and butterflies love visiting them. These plants are hardy, surviving in the hot weather and cool dips we have had this summer. I will be picking up more for other areas of the year for next season!"
"I used these plants in containers on my back deck which gets a large amount of sun from late morning on. They thrive on heat and sun, even if extreme, provided they are adequately watered. The plants bloomed early and are prolific and continue to bloom. That is one of the nice things about Gallardia. I recommend this plant, especially this variety and will order them again. BTW, your pollinators love them, bees, butterflies etc."
"This is a unique in appearance flowering plant and lives up to its Goblin name. It is also the toughest flowering plant I have ever grown. I have had to move it twice and it has finally ended up in a container. It has thrived in all 3 sun/partial shade locations. The blossoms may be colorful or not. No two have looked the same, but it keeps on blooming whether it is 50 degrees or 95 degrees, near drought or flooding rains for 5 days. I don't think a nuclear blast would do more than delay the next set of buds. I will be planting more next year."

"One of my favorite perennials for sun! Goblin used to be widely available but not so much the last few years. I was glad to find it here. Flowered beginning in August and was full of blooms, vibrant gold and red that showed up 200 feet away. Goblin stems are sturdy and do not need staking. The only downside is the flowers don't last a long time and need to be deadheaded to keep it attractive. I plan to combine it with a taller, Arizona variety next summer and add a few more to have a lush bright late summer section."

Goblin has been the classic Gaillardia for perennial gardens for decades. The flowers are large, the plant is shorter than the native, and the blooming goes on for months, especially if you remove the fading flowers. A superb color-maker for your border.
