'Hidcote' is a compact English Lavender that grows only 18-24 inches tall, with highly fragrant, deep purple-blue flowers. Excellent for both fresh and dried bouquets, this lavender attracts bees and butterflies but repels deer and rabbits. Perfect for hot, dry sites and drought tolerant once established. Great choice for container plantings. (Lavandula angustifolia)

Looking forward to the one survivor to bloom. . . . .

"Received 3 plants in good condition and planted them in good time but only one has survived. It does look healthy but sad the other two didn't make it."

"They look great so far. Planning to plant one at each end of a bench in my garden with climbing roses behind it."

SARA (5/5)

"Arrived ver well packed and in good condition. A bit smaller than I expected, but healthy. Looking forward to watching them mature."

Michelle (5/5)

"Plants didn't look very healthy, but I planted all 10. Fingers crossed."

A lovely border to an area of wildflowers.

"Living on the coast in the SE can be tricky. It's hot, humid, sometimes many days with no rain, and then an occasional tropical storm bringing salty downpours. The Hidcote English Lavender has held up very nicely. As it continues to grow, the border around our area of Southern Wildflowers will be even more amazing."

Reen (5/5)

Just ok

"The first order came packaged horrible. 14 of 16 plants died (and they were replaced). The plants were very small too for the price. I'll buy from another company that I've ordered from before next time."

Maybe not suitable for midwest

"I avoided frost and had planted outside but out of 16 pots only 3. 5 survived. I did everything right by the book. Perhaps too intense sun (planted northwest side of house) or too much/too little if something. Other stores same variety is doing fine so I just didn't have a luck with this butch maybe."

Still Growing

"My wife and I had a new patio built last year, so I am using this lavender plant on West side as a border between the patio and our grass."
