Reviews

Consistently great quality

"I have ordered many plants and seeds from American Meadows over the last 10 years, I've never been disappointed. My 22 Lavender plants arrived looking fresh and healthy. I had to wait a few weeks to plant them, they were nicely potted and did well during that time. They are now in the ground and are putting on new growth at a fast clip. I cn hardly wait for my small piece of Provence to mature and bloom. (winning the sweepstakes would allow me to buy more!)"

I can't wait to see it in the summer!

"I have a large area between my driveway and entry. I've added different plants. I had 2 different lavender plants and wanted to add a 3rd. This one seems to be healthy and coming along well. I took off the blooms when I planted it and it's already gotten new blooms! I feel it's really going to be a beautiful plant!"

Lavender is starting to bloom

"All but one plant arrived healthy. They were all similar sizes and began growing immediately. Three weeks after planting I removed the sickly runt from the border. All others were showing buds by this point. I found a replacement plant at a local nursery that is in the same stage with buds."

Has survived all weathers

"Trimming and maintaining is the tricky part or else it's a delight to have the plant"

yes

"This is the end of the second year for my two new Lavender plants. One did quit well right away in a super sunny and quite dry area under the drip edge of my home, the other got shaded as the garden filled is during its first summer and languished, I moved it to a sunny spot this summer and it has begun to thrive. Tough little plants and a joy to smell while working in the flower bed."

I would buy lavender again from American Meadows

"First time purchasing and planting lavender. The baby lavender arrived on time for planting and was packaged with care. Healthy plants."

Impressed

"I am really impressed with this lavender. I bought a few in March and kept them inside for about 3-4 weeks until it started to warm up a bit since they were 3". I have not had any issues whatsoever with these plants. I live in Houston and this summer has been breaking records left and right. We have had weeks of temps in the 100's, and these plants have not even wilted their leaves. They have grown significantly fast and are very full. I have not had any issues with bugs either - even when one of the plants next to it had aphids and mealybugs. I would highly recommend these ones for hot climates just make sure you are not overwatering them and get a good draining soil."
