Sensational!™ Lavender is an improved, easy-to-grow variety that makes growing lavender accessible to more gardeners than ever! Silvery foliage is topped by large, dense purple flower spikes. With a compact, dense habit and notable durability for sun, heat, and humidity, as well as cold tolerance, Sensational stands apart from many traditional Lavender varieties. Description

(18-30" tall x 24" wide) Sensational!™ Lavender is an exciting introduction from the same growers that developed the versatile, easy-to-grow Phenomenal Lavender. Tough, broad silver foliage has an elegant look that pairs nicely with many garden designs. Sensational™ blooms with flowers that are unusually large compared to other lavender varieties.  Fragrant flowers and foliage have a dense, compact habit with a sweet floral aroma on sturdy stems. Low camphor content makes this an excellent choice for culinary uses, drying, and aromatherapy. Like most Lavender varieties, Sensational™ will thrive in hot, sunny, and dry growing conditions, yet it has been developed for improved moisture and cold tolerance (up to -10F). Suitable for all but the  coldest areas of the US.
