A classic perennial for mid-spring color, few flowers are as arresting as 'Crimson Red' Oriental Poppy. Vivid red petals surround a black center for a powerful draw to early season pollinators. Crepe-paper-like flowers contrast vividly against hairy, grey-green foliage. Deer and rabbit resistant, this cold-hardy long-lived perennial is perfect for worry-free gardening. (Papaver)

Doing well

"This poppy is doing pretty well. Not expecting full growth and blooms this first season, but high hopes for next summer."

Love the poppy plants

"Red crimson poppy plants are easy to start and looking forward to flowers next year. Plants arrived healthy and at the right time to plant outside."

RENA (5/5)

I might buy this plant again.

"These poppies are in the curb garden on a slight hillock in front of my house."

Was skeptical but ok now

"This plant was half dead when it arrived, but since being planted it seems to be recovering. Hopefully it will continue to grow and eventually flower. I was kind of surprised that 2 of the plants I received were in this condition, but both seemed to improve once they were planted."

If needed I would buy this product again.

"Hoping for poppy flowers next year."

"Died within a day."

No flowers

"Plants arrived healthy and are healthy in my garden border, but still after being planted several months ago, no buds or flowers. Hoping that they'll flower next year."

Kris (3/5)

Plants are healthy

"My plants have not bloomed yet because I ordered them too late for them to bloom. All 4 arrived healthy. All survived transplanting . I ordered red poppies because I have seen them when travelling. I saw a yard with many of them in Riverside, California and took a picture. I live nearby, but in a cooler city. I planted the sprouts where they have shade from a tree and several hours of sun I am not concerned that they did not flower because it is a papaver like California poppies and has a thick root that should come back up about next March 1."
