"Plants were delivered too early in Spring and plants were very small and did not survive after planting!"
"I received 8 plants last fall and planted them right away. None of them came up. I am really disappointed and was excited to add this to my landscaping."
"It took SO long to receive the plants. Unfortunately, 3 of the 6 that I ordered were mostly brown There were faint sprigs of green so I was hoping for the best and planted them. That was almost 2 weeks ago - so far, nothing. ☹️"
"Ordered 3 LITTLE plants. Two died. I have one plant that I think will make it. Not worth the money ."
"Nicely packed Live plants."
"I planted 5 individuals three weeks ago. One appears like it won't make it. In addition, I tried to order 4 more individuals but American Meadows was out of stock (sort of). They would not break up an in-stock 9 pack for me."
"They died . All the other plants u sent are great"
"Sadly most of these did not survive. I ordered 6 and looks like only 2 are coming out of dormancy."
"Grew okay first season after planting, but didn't come back the second year."
"Over a period of two or three years, I added eight pink Muhly plants to my garden. Only four remain. The others all inexplicably died during the winter. I have no idea why as they were planted close to the house and had western sun exposure. Losing so many was very frustrating because they were finally achieving mature size and looking impressive."
Even without the drifting blooms, 'Pink Cloud' Muhly Grass (Muhlenbergia capillaris) commands attention in the garden. Growing in a dense clump, the long, narrow green foliage flows with fountain-like effect through the garden. Leaf blade color turns buff to copper in autumn as floral plumes rise high above the foliage, creating the namesake cloud-like effect.
Don’t let all that glimmers fool you: few plants are as rugged as 'Pink Cloud' Muhly Grass. Tolerant of tough growing conditions, from sea spray to poor soils, it thrives on hot, dry sites and is drought tolerant once established. Plants are deer resistant, making ideal additions to meadow plantings and other naturalized areas. Muhly is commonly used to stabilize slopes and as a low hedge. Make sure your soil is well-drained in colder months, as Muhly does not care for cold waterlogged sites.
A spectacular selection of a tough North American native grass.
