ZONES  3-8 | Good to grow! Zone

'Pink Hawaiian Coral' Peony lives up to its name with semi-double blooms that arrive in a sunset of coral, peach, and melon shades in early summer. Very fragrant and packed with petals, this one took the gold from the American Peony Society in the year 2000. Exceptionally easy to grow and easy to care for. (Paeonia lactiflora)

It's dying, the bottom leaves are turning black.

"The plant seemed vigorous at first. The first shoots emerged quickly. Then the bottom leaves on the stalks started turning black. No problem with other plants in the vicinity. I looked it up and it appears to have leaf blight. I'll be treating it today wirh a fungicide."

Absolutely stunning

"Gosh, what to say. The first year, no blooms, but no surprise. Next year, one bloom. Flash forward 3-4 years down, I have a good dozen blooms on each plant. I'm not doing anything special, just water and sunshine. these are the first peonies to bloom each year. They are absolutely gorgeous, have large sized flowers and my favorite color. I'm heartbroken that I moved this last year, but I'm within a short drive of seeing them. Hoping to get a few planted in my new yard!!!!!"
